In 1547 I have a rare mentioning of the name in the UK. Agneta Budde married on 28 April 1574 Richard Wright from Enfield, Middlesex, England. They had a son Richard Wright born in 1572 in Stepney, Ratcliff Middlesex.

(Feb 2012) Edith Pringle is a daughter of Elizabeth Margaret Rose Budde, her father (Edith’ grandfather) was Anthony Budde married to Ellen Herron. They lived in Holywood, Northern Ireland. Edith remember visiting their house in Spencer Street – Anthony had passed away but his beloved pigeons remained.
